Already checked with dentist who suggested to uproot the milk teeth. But as per paeditrician, it is not required if it is not troubling my son. So, bit confused. I am going by this blog & paeditrician and will wait for next few weeks to see how things shape up. Will keep posted on the outcome.tkbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16509737740006161094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29911725.post-80319246693225851052010-05-25T10:56:49.036+08:002010-05-25T10:56:49.036+08:00Thanks for posting such useful information. Just now when i noticed the same problem with my daughter's teeth i was also panicked like other mums here and wanted to take an urgent appointment with my dentist. But now i am relaxed. Luckily her baby teeths are loose. I hope everything goes fine and of course will keep updating about her progress.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14667153174813995653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29911725.post-66527872069793644262010-01-02T06:30:28.066+08:002010-01-02T06:30:28.066+08:00i was glad to find this information as i specifica...i was glad to find this information as i specifically looked it up on internet before i take my little boy who has jsut turned 5 to the dentist for the very first time.

i noticed by accident the other day that his lower permanent tooth was well grown behind his lower milk teeth and his milk teeth are not loose.

compared to my older daughter who is 7, she lost teeth very early and has already lost and replace about 9 teeth and she has only just had her 7th birthday so he is sklow in comparison in that he has not lost a tooth at all yet.

i will take him to dentist as its a good excuse for his first ever check up. hopefully all will be well. i dont trust dentists and tend to stay away from them as ive always had badadvice from them and different advice which has always been proved that they were just after money i guess.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29911725.post-74708992576103380472009-01-25T08:24:00.000+08:002009-01-25T08:24:00.000+08:00Hiya Anon,My girls two permanent front teeth are a...Hiya Anon,
My girls two permanent front teeth are almost fully grown now. She had both her lower front teeth growing in that manner and they grew almost parallel in height to the milk teeth before the milk teeth eventually dropped off! However, the upper milk teeth came off first before the permanent teeth came in "normally". :)Mumsgatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08578910510946597934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29911725.post-63310482129889113662008-12-10T05:47:00.000+08:002008-12-10T05:47:00.000+08:00thank you so much for the links and all the info! ...thank you so much for the links and all the info! so strange that this seems to be a common problem, yet i've never heard of anyone with their permanent teeth growing behind the baby ones. my daughter lost her first tooth a few months ago and the second only two days ago and to my surprise i noticed her new tooth happily growing behind it. i panicked and so did she, saying 'i just wanna be normal! i like being normal!' bless her, but tomorrow morning i can tell her the good news. she's just normal. thanks again!
